This social history museum, established in 1984, perpetuates the history, heritage and traditions of the Canadian Air Force. The Trent-Severn Waterway is a National Historic Site that originates in Quinte West. It is a popular summer boating attraction that connects Lake Ontario through inland waterways to Lake Huron. The entire length of the waterway is 386kms including 44 locks, two of which are hydraulic and unique to North America. Charts and passes can be purchased at lock 1 in Trenton.
