Quinte Arts Council

The Quinte Arts Council is a not-for-profit community arts organization. We represent the Quinte region and our office and gallery/gift shop is located in the heart of downtown Belleville, at 36 Bridge Street East, next to Paulo's Trattoria. Drop in to the gallery to see work by our member artists and artisans. Pick up a copy of the QAC's arts newspaper, Umbrella. Purchase cards, books and CDs created by local artists. Glanmore National Historic Site

Belleville's Treasure....Glanmore was built in 1883 for J.P.C. Phillips and his wife Harriet and is an example of Second Empire style architecture. The interior features ornate frescoed ceilings and intricate woodwork. Original furnishings continue to grace many rooms in the historic house. Glanmore by Gaslight Tickets are now available. Evening tours feature a Victorian Christmas themed tour of the historic house, a visit with Father Christmas and traditional holiday refreshments and goodies. Tours start at 6:30 pm on Nov. 29th, Dec. 6th and Dec. 13. Contact Glanmore at 613-962-2329 to reserve your tickets!
